DES MOINES, Iowa and TAIPEI, Taiwan (June 1, 2004) – Accordance Systems, Inc., a global provider of RAID storage for computer network infrastructures, today announced the opening of its United States headquarters in Des Moines, IA, and the appointment of Steve Johnson as president and CEO of Accordance USA. The company specializes in RAID disk array storage hardware and software to support secure disk recovery, optimized data transfer and enterprise storage management. Mr. Johnson will oversee all operations in the US focusing on business development and promotion of Accordance RAID storage products as the company engages in the growing worldwide disk storage market. IDC forecasts this market to be $20 billion in 2004.

Accordance offers a complete line of internal/external RAID storage, network attached storage and RAID server products for single computer and network enterprise use. The company’s family of ARAID99™ products provide a drop-in storage solution for IDE, SCSI, Serial ATA, USB and Firewire connectivity. The RAID product line includes an SNMP agent for remote monitoring and management.

Before Icon Labs, Johnson held executive vice president of marketing positions at Microware Systems Corporation and SNAP2 Corporation and served on each company’s board of directors when each company went public. Steve has held sales and marketing positions at Mizar, Inc., an embedded board level hardware manufacturer of VMEbus boards.

Accordance USA will be exhibiting with Accordance Taiwan at Computex 2004, Hall 1, booth # H513, June 1-5th, 2004 in the Taipei World Trade Center. The companies will be announcing and exhibiting its new RAID storage products including the ARAID99 1500 Serial ATA disk array with RAID1 and RAID0 support.
